Stress, chronic stress and burnout can have severe consequences on clinical practice and ethical decision making, which puts clients, clinicians and supervisors at risk. We will identify the impact of current global and personal stressors on the mental health system, providers and supervisees. We will discuss the stress, chronic stress, and burnout progression and utilize screening tools, resilience factors, and coping skills to support supervises and ensure effective treatment.

In this 2-hour course, you'll gain the tools you need to support your clients through their 12-step recovery with confidence.

Overcoming Blocks in Therapy: Identifying and Addressing Barriers to Progress
This 2-hour course is designed to help mental health professionals identify and address common blocks that can prevent clients from making progress in therapy. This course will cover psychological barriers such as unresolved trauma, blocking beliefs, and therapeutic mismatches as well as practical barriers like childcare, transportation, and health issues. Participants will learn how to recognize these obstacles, understand the underlying issues, and apply effective strategies to overcome them, including exploring blocking beliefs, secondary gains, and stages of change. This course is ideal for therapists looking to improve client outcomes by effectively managing the real barriers that arise in therapy.

Social Work Supervision
I am licensed to provide supervision for social workers seeking independent licensure in the state of Ohio. For those who do not have a supervisor available in the workplace, your employer may agree to share a portion of the cost.
If you are a therapist interested in private practice, I can help you with all aspects of getting started including accepting insurance, marketing, networking and finding your niche.
Rates: $150 per hour for professional consulting, $100 per hour for social work supervision.
